便攜式X光機 方便急救 Battery-powered Portable X-ray Machine #DigInfo

X光儀器是診斷骨折的一項重要的工具，但X光機其中一個弊端是流動性不足，在緊急救援時難以派上用場，要將病人送到醫院才能照X光，有機會延誤救援。日本一間公司研發了一部便攜式X光機，不但體積大縮水，還可以使用電池驅動，而拍得的X光片還可以遠傳到醫院電腦，方便醫護人員檢視。

這部便攜式X光機，機身連同電池重量只有十五磅，每次充滿電可以使用三百次。由於它的體積遠比傳統X光機細，平時可安置於救護車上，當發生嚴重災難或事故時，救護員可爭取時間在救護車上為傷者照X光，即場從機身的LED顯示屏檢視結果，然後將資料經無線網絡傳送到醫院，讓醫護人員可因應病人的傷勢，及早定出治療方案。日本的開發商已取得生產許可，估計每部售價約二萬二千美元，折合約十七萬港元。

"This product is the TRB9020H, a portable X-ray machine. It is Japan's first battery-powered portable X-ray machine. It does not require AC power and is capable of taking X-rays anywhere with its completely wireless setup. The most unique aspect of this device is that it is battery powered, yet despite running on batteries it is lightweight at 7 kg."

The device is capable of approximately 300 consecutive X-rays on a single charge, so it can be used in remote areas or in emergency circumstances when the power supply has been cut. The control panel also features a bright LED display that can be read easily outdoors.

"This unit has a list price of 1.8 million yen and has already received regulatory approval. We have shipped quite a number of these overseas. In Japan we have scheduled several demonstrations. We plan to market this primarily for at-home healthcare, disasters, and emergency medicine."
